It took an hour but the streaming finally got some audio during the Hambelton match to which I was greeted with "Everybody Dance Now". I also enjoyed listening to the soulful sound of Rob Thomas singing in collaboration with Carlos Santana to "Smooth". Not sure it fits the background music of a wrestling dual, but I liked it.

I also got to listen to a conversation about what I would assume was the camera woman's love life and how she had eatin' Subway. Very interesting.

At its peak the online broadcast netted 45 viewers.

Some suggestions for the broadcast would be to possible use a picture in picture with a shot of the scoreboard inside so the matches are easier to follow. I know this is possible because I've watched Norton's broadcast for their tournament and regionals. Play by play could be an added touch. Maybe put some of the Cardinal wrestlers behind the mic. Maybe one from Kansas and the other from Missouri just to make things interesting. I'm sure Chase Nelson would be a riot. Another suggestion would be to see about a better connection to the internet because it was a little "laggy" at times.

Overall, I really enjoyed the dual. Thanks to all of those who had a hand in getting this event off the ground running. Good way to showcase Kansas wrestling and might open up some recruiting networks for the Cardinals at the same time. This will definitely help those wrestlers who will be making the trek out to Virginia Beach.
