Venue, concessions, competion, experience of workers, availability of eating establishments in their towns or close by.
Sounds like good reasons to me although I would move competition to the back of the list. While I've been to all of those towns more than once I sadly have never attended a tournament there. Just too many tournaments here in the southcentral region to justify the trip.
