Derby Wrestling Club,
Your club put on a great tournament. The competition was there in most of the brackets with 2-3 kids that should place at state. There were many kids that will win state this year at your tournament. You should be very proud of the tournament you put on. The medals were awesome, bigger than the USJOC and personalized not just a stock medal bought in bulk.

Craig I obviously saw things from a different perspective this year, and thought the tournament was great. For the refs that didn't show up, Derby took care of us and I know I appreciated it. Great job and the best medals I have seen since USJOC. To go through almost 900 kids in the time we did was amazing. Thanks to Derby, but also the kids, coaches, tournament staff and participants, you made for a fun day, even for me.

This was a great tournament and ran alot smoother than last year. The competition was good and you guys handled the scratches and bracket adjusting just fine. Medals were outstanding! The staff and coaches were great. I have only one problem there was one guy that seemed to be running everything that was just plain out rude. I went in to the coaches meeting at 8am and he told me to get out It wasnt time and I was not to be in that room. Flyer said coaches meeting 8am. The night of weigh in he was at the table as you walk in and just yelling orders and seen him tell many people off about where they were running. He needs to brush up on his people skills if he wants to be in charge. Yelling and being rude doesnt not get you anywhere. I understand you have to keep order but you dont have to be on a power trip. To the rest of the Derby staff and table workers, coaches you guys were a class act.

Thank you to all the clubs who attended our tournament this year. With almost 900 wrestlers entered, and numerous scratches, it was a challenge to get everything running smoothly and on time.
Myself, and the Derby Wrestling Club appreciate all the support we received from the different clubs (over 50) who attended the tournament this weekend.
I also want to extend a big thank you to the referees for the wonderful job they did. We had 2 referees not show up (they were even under contract)and the other refs did a great job picking up the slack. 12 refs with 12 mats wrestling allows for no rotation or break time. That makes for a long, hard day and those guys handled it great.

Thank you,
