I know they changed the clinch for greco but don't know the details enough to tell you any more than that.
In Freestyle, at the world cup they are now calling passivity at the ends of periods to avoid clinches (made it sound like they wouldn't do it if someone was up 1-0), seems very political. He stress control the center. Coach Jones addressed us with this at NCAA's and said the refs would be enforcing this at the U.S. Nationals.
Also, you can't just push someone out of bounds from the feet and expect to get a point. They have to be under a real attack, this is a change bc as long as you were both one your feet and one guy was pushed out it was a forsure point and now it isn't. Also, people used to get a leg and just run to the out of bounds, now if you don't try to finish on the mat and you just run the guy out of bounds they could possibly not give any points. Sounds like they just made freestyle more political than it already is. Hope that helps.
