I would just like to say that I think it is awesome that this many Kansas Wrestlers will be wrestling, playing football, or pursuing their career interests next year in college. No matter what level it is, this shows you the kind of competitors we have wrestling in Kansas. Congratulations to these young men on what they've accomplished, but don't let what you did in high school be the greatest thing you've ever done. Accomplish more and raise yourselves to a higher level. Work hard, stay in school and good luck to each and every one of you.
I really liked this post. It shows how much pride your high school and college coaches take in our high school athletes accomplishments in their athlethics and academic accomplishments. It also shows how they want them to excel in their studies in college and ultimately in life.
This does not stop in high school either. Here is a message I received from a former Neosho CC assistant wrestling coach Aaron Sweazy about one of our former high school wrestlers who wrestled for Neosho CC.
Although not continuing with wrestling, I am pumped for Justin Ringgold who was named STARS Male Student of the Year. Stars is a Student Support Service here on campus. Ringgold a former state runner up at WNW will be walking this week with his nursing degree. He plans on moving on and eventually finishing his doctorate at Texas Tech University.
