Read a good little article on themat.com about top 10 stories. The author asked for a top 10 for 2010 from the rest of us. Off the top of my head I thought of a few for KS, but don't have the time to put them in order or do some background on them. Maybe others could if ur up for it. Off the top of my head, in no order:

--Oklahoma Univeristy becoming Kansas south!

--6 and under USA wrestling State tournament shot down again

--Tyler Caldwell an NCAA All American

--New weight class decision put off another year, maybe loss of 103.

--kids wrestling moves towards remote weigh ins and a "honor" system weigh in held by clubs

--Issac Dulgarion a Schoolboy Greco and Freestyle National Champion

--1st ever Middle School State Championships, with the top 4 qualifying for the MS National duals. Wrestlers had to earn their spot.

--Parker Madl breaks pin record enroute to an undefeated season and another state championship, and a ride to Kansas South.

--Jordan Keller JUCO National Champion, and signs with KS south

--Baker University starts an undefeated steak!

--Fargo National Champions Taylor Moeder and Austin Hood

--A Nebraska fan's blog announces college commitments and shows the insane amount of KS HS wrestlers competing at the next level. This brings instant attention to college wrestling coaches nationwide scouting KS wrestlers.

--Chief Renegade's ranking being recognized nation wide as "the" rankings for KS kids.

--Chase Nelson, KS South (OU) winning Midlands.

More then ten, but some I could think of. Feel free to slaughter and make them better.

Happy New year!
