Mumaw was out due to injury, along with a handful of Jeff West athletes. Tough luck this year for the Tigers. I was disappointed they didn't award an "Outstanding Wrestler" award. I also preached to our guys all week about wrestling under the lights at St Marys. They don't do that anymore and I understand. I appreciate getting out early. But I also will never forget wrestling under the lights there. Well run tourney though.

I missed the kids being under the lights too. Maybe next time St. Marys host they can use all 4 mats to run 5 place matches as well as 3rd place matches too. Then take 20 minute break and set up light and run one mat. It wouldn't have taken any longer and spotlighted the wrestlers it should. The two best of the tournament. I agree very well run and needs to come back to St. Marys for good. Great Job Travis and Bob and all the St. Marys workers and and kids club. You guys ran a great tournament. Thanks!!

When I was at Imac, we LOVED going to St. Mary's. Saturday was a long day, but the whole atmosphere for the finals, the introductions and everything else made it worth it. And the competition was a great mid-season test for everyone. Oh, and ALWAYS good food in the coaches' room; almost as good as Onaga!!!

My son made the finals to the St.Marys Inv. and was looking forward to the spot light match. He has been working for three years to make the championship match just to learn that they were doing away with it this year. Some of the other kids i learned were also sad to learn that there was no spot light this year. Hope that St.Marys get it back next year and start the spot light finals up again.

I was always told that St. Marys was a tough tournament.....all of my high school i regreted going there because i beleive it should be a one day tournament......and there was still not a lot of stiff competion......i think it could be improved changing it to one day
