I think you mistake aggressiveness for domination. Cokeley dominated the match. He was never out of position, Scanlon never came close to scoring and in all phases, top, bottom and neutral, Ryne dictated the action and the flow. This was domination.

Look at Cody Brewer's match- he got taken down and then went on to establish domination but he did not control the whole match and college coaches would really stress the importance of setting the tone and the pace of the match from the get go.

I think it would serve you well to watch the NCAA finals and more college matches before you decide what a D1 college match is all about.
