Nice work by St. James! Only bringing 6 wrestlers and in 4th place! Finish strong Kansas. Talk about cost effective wrestling! Six wrestlers - four finalists- 4th place after first day! I get to talk about it with my friends! I get to promote the sport of wrestling! And I get to take it all in remotely! What tournament are going to attend sporto?
The older I get the better I was!

The first six weights have NO Kansans in the finals. Only three weights have both wrestlers from Kansas. That means only 11 out of 28 wrestlers are from Kansas. See Jerry Dale's Post...

Looks like another good and tough tourn in GC. I was wondering if anyone had any information on who won OW of the tourn. My guess is prob. Moeder @140,Himmelman @ 145, or Cokeley @152.

Those lower weight Pine Creek kids are the real deal, I was very impressed when I watched them wrestle at the Colby Dual Tournament, and not only are they great wrestlers they are fine young men, as are all the kids on the team. The coaching staff as well are great guys.

I am well aware of what TW can and cannot do. I also am aware that if we don't make our sport somewhat profitable, that it will die a slow death. Eventually, all schools are going to be forced to look at their receipts from all sports. With our sport already taking a hit at the gate due to a large portion of our fans being at youth tournaments on Saturdays, it makes it even more imperative that the rest of us get off our asses and get to the tournaments. Sport0, I have a really good friend who is a former Liberal High Redskin wrestler, state placer in his day, who has ALS. He is confined to a wheelchair and cannot "get off of his ass and get to the tournament" but he loves following Kansas wrestling on trackwrestling because it is easy to access, easy to use, and real time. Every weekend he asks if the tournament we are going to be on trackwrestling. I would pay for all the St. James tournaments to be on trackwrestling just to bring the real time results into Joe's computer every weekend.

trackwrestling also allows the kids club coaches who have multiple interest/connections to the High School tournaments to keep track of the results.
