It's impossible to compare. Match counts change over the years, so does the ability to travel. Goddard did go to the Airport KCI tournament and both kids won. But there are kids from the 70's and 80's that could compare based on what was offered to them. I will say Caldwell/Beard taking a red-shirt year to prepare should lost them a couple votes. Their results are outstanding, but I would hazzard to guess that both Ryne and Taylor would have a few less losses if they took a extra year to train as repeast 8th graders as well.
