Bronson,
You are right this weekend with the large attendance of the Kansas wrestling community from across the state would be a great venue to enthuse the Kansas wrestling community about this Kansas College Wrestling Endowment Fund and it would not hurt for the politicians to see that enthusiam for college wrestling in Kansas from so many voters in one place.
It is a little too late to get that to happen this weekend. And probably premature on the Endowment fund since it will still need to be approved by the USAW-KS Board. It would be great though if next year a new Board approved Kansas College Endowment fund could be briefly talked about at the start of this event.
About the most I could see happening this weekend pertaining to this would be if someone at the start would announce the exciting news that two colleges have announced this year new college wrestling programs starting up (Bethany and Benedictine). Also I think it would be good if at a grass roots level in the auditorium if some of you in attendance would start to talk amongst each other about this proposed new Kansas College Endowment fund and the new college programs that have started in recent years and the two new ones announced this year.
