This is a tough tough tournament! Every match is like a State finals match.

So many of our wrestlers have placed their wrestling value on the thier wins and loses ... mistakenly so!

Why do some chose not to compete in post season events? Perhaps it is because they or maybe moreso their parents have become comfortable being a big fish in a small pond!! It is safe, inside your comfort zone!

And one's comfort zone is undoubtedly relative! It might be that third year novice who gets beat in open competition. It might be parent who will stay within an hour of the house for tournaments. Regardess if you want to test your metal, you need to challenge your metal!

Undoubtedly that can happen within your club, your District or your State ... but the chances that it will happen are increased at certain events! The NHSCA Senior Nationals is such an event!!

The value I see ... is in challeging oneself regardless of the outcome.

There are no boundaries except the ones we place on ourselves!
