By the way, Salyer, you don't need to respond...

It's not that I like to play with you, anyway...but, with that out of the way...live by your own rules....

No need for me to contact the Oklahoma staff as I can contact Tyler's parents? My source was a member of Tyler's family.

Oh but I do! A coward such as yourself who goes on the attack and does not post his true identity cannot go unanswered. I believe you are referring to the following:

Last week you asked:

The answer to your question(s) can be attained by contacting Bishop Carroll Catholic High School Head Wrestling Coach Darian Eshelman.
Email: eshelmandarian@bcchs.org
Telephone: (316) 722-2390

If you would like the contact information for Mr. Chadd, kindly advise and I will happily provide?

Even a (you pick the noun) such as yourself should realize the difference between asking questions regarding a minor child in high school and a twenty plus year old scholarship athlete at a public university.

And, I should add, that even a (extending the same courtesy you extended to me, you pick the word)should have the good sense to understand that my inquiries had nothing to do with you; and your unnecessary and caustic intrusion served no beneficial purpose. I'll comment no further.

I can't resist: my co-called "cowardice" pales in comparison to your periodic attempts at "petty tyranny" in unnecessarily and rudely inserting yourself in posts having nothing to do with you.

I would suspect that your professed inability to "play well with others" (as amply evident by many of your posts) has served to intimidate posters and cause them to refrain from further interaction on these forums - Your so-called "warning" notwithstanding.

You choose to use your obvious, unquestionable wrestling knowledge (which I have benefited from and appreciated) in a "bullying" fashion, as if you have somehow been appointed and/or ordained to serve over this forum as the final arbiter, criticizing and chastising posters for their most innocuous remarks. To illustrate, what did you find inappropriate and/or distasteful about my inquiries about the BC wrestlers that I inquired about. To be candid, I sort of understood that this was one of the purposes of the forum. There was no intent to slur these fine young men, only to inquire of their status. As an aside, I found it highly offensive to be called a "rumor-monger", for such an innocent inquiry. Still do.

Now, Salyer, my name is Eric C. Svoboda, and I suppose, in all fairness, and in compliance with the rules of this forum it is only right that I identify myself. I've been wanting to post these remarks for some time. I've debated with myself about posting these remarks, but your callous remarks in calling me a "coward", served to alleviate any such concerns.

What the... one more thing, Salyer: your caveat: "Richard does not play well with others", does not constitute a license, permit, acceptance and/or free pass to tersely and/or rudely interact with posters on this forum.

...And with that said, I am aware that I have confronted a very respected, long-standing, maybe, original member of this forum - but civility has it's place, and what the hell, I can't remember the last time someone called me a "rumor-monger" or a "coward", and I'll not countenance it, any further, or anymore....

richard's sign off isn't meant as a warning, he just likes to play with himself, better than with others. wink.

The criteria to qualify for an Olympic Redshirt year is
1. Past Senior World and Olympic Team members
2. Top eight placewinner at the 2011 U.S. Senior World Team Trials
3. Top three placewinner at the 2011 NCAA Championships or NCAA champion from a previous year AND a top two finish at the 2011 University National Championships (must accomplish both).

I saw on the Oklahoma forum that Caldwell has been granted a conditional release. I'm not sure if that is true of not but an interesting rumor.

Henson is a great motivator and coach but Cody is probably just as good if not better.

I would think twice before following Henson around. I don't think he has been at a college for more than 2 years ever. So what if Caldwell transfered w/ Henson and then Henson is somewhere else again the following year. I know you can't keep transferring from place to place without consequences.

It is my understanding, from a very reliable source, Tyler Caldwell is exploring the possibility of taking an Olympic Redshirt year while training at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colo. in an attempt to make the 2012 Olympic Team. After the redshirt year, Tyler's options will be open.

My reliable source says he will stay at OU.

uh oh i sense a pi$$ing contest coming on. the only question: is the contest between richard and chief, or is it richard's very reliable source vs. chief's reliable source. ORRRRRRRRRRRRRRR is a a tag team match. tune in next week to see who will become the "biggest no-it-all champion of the world". lol. you guys crack me up.
Chief is the "biggest no-it-all champion of the world" as Richard prefers to stick to the facts!

Tyler is currently training for the upcoming World Team Trials, held June 09 thru 11, 2011 in Oklahoma City. Providing Tyler places in the top eight (8) he will become eligible for the Olympic Redshirt option.
