Northwest Kansas Freestyle and Greco-Roman Wrestling Practices
I Eric Luedke will be conducting Northwest Kansas Freestyle and Greco-Roman Wrestling Practices in Colby starting Tuesday, April 12th.
When: Tuesdays 7:00 pm to 8:45ish pm. I will also be hosting USAWKS workshops every other Sunday in Colby Starting Sunday, April 17th.
Where: The Colby Middle School wrestling room located at 750 W. 3rd Street. Please use the back door entrance.
For Who: All age levels Bantam-Juniors and Kids from all Northwest Kansas towns. Car pooling is the way to go. Its free, top notch instruction thanks the Colby Wrestling Club.
Don’t make any excuses and find a way to come. The Russian wrestlers your age are training freestyle 5 days a week, if you want to wrestle Division I in college and possibly win Olympic gold medals. It’s probably a good idea you come.
Being from Kansas, the only way to get a full-ride wrestling scholarship from a big time school is to win Junior-Cadet nationals in Fargo or to win High School Senior nationals.
Training outside of the folk style season and attending the Team Kansas Fargo and Southern Plains camps are hands down the best camps you can attend from my past experiences. Surrounding yourself with the best coaches and wrestlers from the Great state of Kansas is the way to go.
This isn’t the off-season, This is now the Freestyle and Greco-Roman season. The only styles you can win Olympic and world titles in.
