I will take this opportunity to recognize all the volunteers that make hosting this event possible!

First, the FHSU staff and Chas Thompson! It is a challenge to logistically manage the tourney, run a camp, house many and as I said yesterday, mop mats!!

Next, all our camp and event coaches! A special thanks to David Langley!!

To the pairers, about 15 strong, that are shut in a room and don't get to see any wrestling! All of you are appreciated!!

To the over 3 dozen mat officials! You too, are appreciated!

Next the head table staff, Mike, Kathy, Leanna, Dave etc.!

And last but far from least, to Steve Woody and the large number of bracket runners, bout sheet runners, hospitality workers, clock operators ... almost all from District 4 ... you truly make this event what is has become!! In the 5 years at FHSU, I have never once heard, an announcement for volunteers to help run the tourney!

With a tiny bit of pride ... I say, Kansas runs the best tournaments in the Nation!!
