I just spoke with an aged old coaching friend of mine from Missouri. He offered an opinion that I felt too. His take is that the overall wrestling is up, in the Southern Plains!

From my vantage point I can only see the Junior and Cadet matches well but there have been dozens of real competitive bouts! Fortunatley a few of the bouts involve Kansas lads!!

Granted we have always had a few grapplers that performed very well. The improvement appears to be in the good kids and the average kids! Eventually that will strengthen all!
