Benedictine College Wrestling is Hosting its 1st annual fall clinic Saturday October 22nd. Fall clinic will help you prepare for the upcoming wrestling season. Also it will be able to provide insight to Benedictine College and the new NAIA Wrestling program here in Kansas.

The fall clinic will offer two technique sessions starting at 9 a.m. and will feature Eric Akin.

Akin was a four time NCAA Div. I All-American at Iowa State University. After his time at Iowa State he went on to win USA Freestyle National Championships, and became a member of two Olympic teams and one world team.

Along with instruction from Akin, the campers will get to meet and interact with Benedictine College wrestling coaching staff and some of the future Benedictine wrestlers. Campers will be provided with a camp T-shirt, lunch, and a motivational section to help them gear up for the 2011-2012 wrestling season.

Fees for the camp are $35 per individual or $30 if you are coming with a team of ten or more.

Seems like a great opportunity for wrestlers to get some rust off prior to season.

We will have about a three hour drive are parents aloud to watch during the camp

Wrestle Nuts,

Parents and coaches are allowed to watch for free. In order to participate you will have to fill out the cut out on the bottom of the sheet along with the 35 dollars.

I would like to thank everyone who attended the 1st annual Benedictine College Wrestling Fall Clinic. We had 70+ wrestlers in attendance to learn and improve prior to the upcoming wrestling season. This truly was exciting to see kids from all over the midwest, (Iowa, Kansas, Nebraska, Missouri, and Tennessee) showing up to support a brand new program.
