Congrats to the 3 boys from Shawnee Mission South who traveled to Des Moines, Iowa to compete in the Corn cob National tournament.

128lbs Grant Jongerius, 2-2 on the day, in a 24 man bracket.
195lbs Rasheed Brady, 3-2 on the day in a 21 man bracket.
148lbs Reis Humphrey, went 5-0 on the day, In a 21 man bracket to capture a Corn Cob National championship.

All three boys hung in there, and wrestled well against some tough competition from 13 other states. Great tournement to attend and it was ran very well, I would recommend this tourney to anyone, we had a great time!! Can't wait to go back next year with a lot more of our boys, and bring some more of those awesome golden corn cobs!! Great job guys Im proud of ya! I believe there was approximately 740 entries, last yr I think there was around 300, so this tourny is growing. It is less than a 3 hour drive.
