Bill, was not disparaging, was making a comparative observation. . .most of them were not "built" as today's athletes are and you are spot on about the technique. Today's elite athletes are superior both physically and technically compared to those of the 1930's.
What I wrote was:
"For the most part the wrestlers in the video are not real physical specimens; most look like guys off the street. Some look mal-nourished. It is hard for most of us to imagine just how tough many had it during the depression."
