This sounds very similar to what happened at Colby a couple years ago. Steve Lampe, although a few have questioned his tactics, was also a great coach and put every thing he had into that program. It was the best program in that school in its entire history, but because of bad administration for 10+yrs he couldn't do it anymore. Colby even had the money plus grants to cover a new facility for the school but the pres wouldn't allow it. Coach Renfro won't leave anytime during this season like Lampe did. Nothing against Lampe but it's understandable with him that last year because of everything he did and the school didn't care for his accomplishments. He was up there in age and the last straw was when the pres. was given an extension. At least Renfro has a long time before he's done coaching. It won't take him anytime to start another legacy somewhere else. Respect is what these coaches deserve. Wrestling just happens to be a sport where many admins arent on the same page
