I am always quite interested of the individuals who make up(lst, 2nd team and honorable mentions) the All-Johnson County team, All-Sunflower team, All-Sun-Country team and All-metro team. Anyone know where i can find them on the net or could anyone just post the results of all of these teams please. Thank you.

All I know is I got hosed for the Sun Country one. I stuck the kid who beat me and he beat me in overtime at state due to an uncalled locked hands infraction. The ref even told me he saw it but second guessed himself. Plus, though it doesn't really matter, it was my third match of the day and his first. I liken it to Jhris losing to Knipp, just a bad match against an inferior wrestler. I also placed higher than him at every single tournament we appeared in together.

Basically, they go completely off of how you did at state so one lucky overtime win negates a dominating match three weaks earlier. Therefore to see the awards just look at state placings.

I know the All-Metro Team was in last Saturday's paper. I can get the the list unless you want to go to the website.

All-Sun Country is about as prestigious as getting 2nd in your sixth grade spelling bee. Yeah, that's right Prant, eat those words.

Not too sure how to spell that word. Weird huh?

No, we have a Sunflower league tournament to determine the equivalent of the I-70 tournament and I won that. All Sun-Country is just sixteen or seventeen area schools that the Sun paper picks.

And second place in the sixth grade spelling bee rocks.

P.S.-They haven't published it in the paper Ben. My coach just called and told me I got screwed.

A lot of those picks can go either way, its really iffy. Last yr my coach got Ali the first team pick instead of Chaz, even though Chaz took 2nd at state that yr. But Ali pinned him three times....nuff said.

I envy anyone that made it to the big show, and by big show i mean the spelling bee and not the state tournament.....i was a lowly first alternate.

Fun Fact: My aunt, Elizabeth Suh, won the district spelling bee. She was 7 years old and defeated a 12 yr old to get the title as District Champion. Eat that Prant and LancerM.

Ben, Sun Country team was Shumate, Almaguer, both Bakers, a Munyan, Aubrey, Clayton, myself, Sonderegger, Cisper, the 189 and 215 pounders from BVNW and Carrera.

Yeah, but here's my arguments:
1.) I stuck him earlier in the season compared to an overtime victory that he got. Also, if the ref who admitted he second guessed himself hadn't done so, I would have won.
2.) I place higher than him in every single tournament we were in together.
3.) I beat far better people than he did. Not to mention he finished with more than double the losses that I had, to opponents I have beaten.

I was better than him throughout the season, but they told my coach that they now go strictly off of how people perform at states due to criticism from last year. Therefore I got screwed.

Well, I'm in the same situation. I beat Knipp at regionals. I beat the guy who beat him twice. He did beat me at state, and he's so much better, according to everyone else. That's just how it goes.

Yeah, we've both been hosed. At least we're good at bowling.

if he beat you at state, didn't he place higher than you in @ least one tournament?
