The Kansas College Wrestling Fund will have a booth at this tournament. Stop by if you would like to help out and feel free to ask Bill Peterman or Sean McCarthy any questions this weekend.
The mission of the Kansas College Wrestling Fund is to provide financial support to active college wrestling programs at Kansas colleges and universities. This financial support will help provide wrestling, academic and eventual career opportunities for student athlete wrestlers in the State of Kansas.

Let me fix this
I would like to see Dulgarian go up one weight class, just to challenge himself.

Pool Brackets are up on www.trackwrestling.com - they still need to weigh-in so there could be changes. I believe 1 point per bye is awarded each team in pool play.

106 doesn't look right, 1 pool with 3 wrestlers, 2 with 5 and 1 with 4?
#3 and #4 ranked wrestlers from 6A are in the same pool?

It should be the value of a pin. Teams are rewarded for not bringing a full team.

It should be the value of a pin. Teams are rewarded for not bringing a full team. In a scramble format (this could also be easily applied to a line bracket, a BYE should only occur when there is NO TEAM represented, ie if you have 31 teams attending a 32 team line bracket event) there should be NO BYES. There should only be OPENS for example STA OPEN and the wrestler should be awarde a FORFEIT as the team chose or could not fill their roster. The wrestler and team should not be penalized for getting an "unlucky" draw. We have been telling Dennis this for six years. This scoring encourages teams to leave wrestlers at home. There is really NO excuse to not bring anyone who can make weight because at the level of competition that will be in there, anyone could win a match. Incent the teams to fill their rosters.

Smokey,
I am saying that they should be awarded BONUS points. Not just advancement points. A forfeit is scored the same as a FALL not just a mere advancement scoring of 1 or 2 points but the 2 BONUS points. Does this make sense to you?

New leader -
I really do not understand this. No matches have been wrestled so there are no wins or losses for any team.
Team 1 gets to start out with 10 pins and 1 major decision. Teams tied for 16th get to start out with 4 pins and 1 major decision. Where does a half point come from on some of the team scores?
