I think I saw that Mays kid wrestle yesterday at Derby. He was handing it to a kid from 10 and under. How does a kid get on purler ultimate? Where is purler, kansas located? I couldn't find it in the map. I'd like to get my nephew some training there. What was a 10U kid doing wrestling in a 6U bracket?

It's also located in Topeka on Wednesday nights from 645-9PM @ the Washburn Rural High School - Lot's of good competition there. Tony has been teaching my 10 year old for 3 years now and has made tremendous strides in his wrestling abilities - I fully believe that Tony's program works.
(paid for by Tony Purler...) JUST KIDDING! But I am serious that it works. Where else will you find a solid hour of intense live wrestling against state and national champs?

You should qualify this by asking where in the KS area can you find intense live wrestling against state and national champs? THere are lots of great instructors/camps out there. We are huge Jeff Jordan followers, but we drive to Ohio. www.jordantrained.com

What do you mean "qualify"?
Also, you have to be invited to Tony's Ultimate room

you said "where else do you find a solid hour of live wrestling against state and national champs?"
Go to Jordan camp, in Ohio, and you'll find plenty of it also. I was saying that you should say that around Kansas, where can you get that........
Come to some of the open room nights around Wichita after the first of the year, and you'll find all you want also.
Purler is a good academy, but not the only place to find great competition. Your boy beat some good kids this weekend at Derby, as well as losing a tough match against a national champ.

The Mays kid wrestled 6u and 8u. He won both. Pretty salty kid no doubt.

I was told the mays kid won 10 and under 67 too. But I didn't check it out yet cue I didn't know he won 6 and under too. Must be quite a kid. Does pierler take 5 year olds on up or is there a minimum age? Why not learn early? Does he have an operation down in wichita or derby area?

Don't know anything about the kids, but just to clarify things....
Dylan' Mays won the 6U and 8U Kenneth Mays won the 10U 67 lbs weight class
Two different kids that I'm guessing are brothers based on their trackwrestling profiles.

Gotcha, I was just letting him know where Purler was based in Kansas, I think Hillbilly is in district 1 - Yes, we did lose a tough one as well - love that tourney Also, I think Purler is waayyyy to advanced for a 5 year old - My 6 year old has been going there for about 8 months now and doesn't remember anything from the week prior I think little guys like that need to be exposed to half nelsons and takedowns, not cross bodies and leg riding - Some may benefit, but I bet it's like 10% or less you said "where else do you find a solid hour of live wrestling against state and national champs?"
