How does St. James get beat by Seaman but move ahead in the Rankings? Are we just trying to stir the pot? Get a little discussion going?
Simple, the competition mix at th 5A state tournament will be completely different than the one at the Bobcat. When matched up against only 5A opponents it appears like SJA will score more total points than the other teams.
In Kansas we don't have a true team state champion because we don't have a dual state competition. The practice of keeping team score in an individual competition doesn't really yield a "team" champion when you consider that some of each team doesn't qualify for state.
