Got it, I just think he is better than 8th. I saw him give the 182lbs state champ Ty Lowe all he wanted several times last year. And lowe was pretty much unstopable last year. Losing only to 195 champion.
I watched many of those matches between Tyler Lowe and Luke Plummer last season. From my perspective it was more Plummer's style, keeping matches close by defending his hips and not opening up, that kept those matches close. I was only able to catch bits pieces of his matches at the Eureka Tournament this year. However, I will be at TVL Duals and the Fredonia Regional so I'll be sure to watch his matches while he is wrestling at those remaining tournaments before State.
There are plenty of ways to skin a cat or wrestle, but those matches last season with Tyler Lowe did not stand out to me as performances that warrant a ranking over the seven wrestlers currently ahead of Plummer at this time.
