Wow......this was a trip down memory lane! ....to read some of my comments and then to think of where I am now....

My youngest boy just made it to state this year (my two oldest are both in college and my third child finished his HS wrestling season and is now in full swing with baseball). What I find surprising is the change I have undergone from being the mother of my first son as he went through wrestling (and making those posts) to where I am now with my two youngest enjoying the sport. For example, when my oldest was wrestling, I would check this board continuously and almost religiously. All I thought about was Saturday to Saturday and obsessing over how he did. Now...it is just something we do on Saturday and I worry more about what will happen on the other days in between.

I still get very nervous every time one of my kids gets on the mat but I have learn perspective along the way. So maybe I don't get as nervous as I use to because now I know to just embrace what will happen and to just enjoy the roller coaster called life.

It is like going when a wrestling tournament has two gyms.....the gym where the "big kids" are wrestling is always more quiet......the crowd is different......they way they act and what they talk about is different.......
