Thanks to James Cook, the Young Guns moms who fed the boys, all of the coaches, van drivers, and chaperones. The boys all wrestled tough! Kansas was well represented with five teams and several alternates. This was the eighth year Kansas has taken teams to a National Folkstyle Duals event for Middle Schoolers and I have to say I am impressed with the improvement overall. This group was very impressive. It takes a ton of work to haul 116 wrestlers to Des Moines but it went off without a hitch. Thanks to all who helped out!

NEXT YEAR NOTES! They are going to expand the arena floor so that we are not as crowded (some mats were literally ringed by wrestlers). They are focusing on growing this event. Next year we plan to work with them on a clock rental deal as well as providing some Kansas officials! This is a super event lets keep it rolling!!
