Way back in the day 1984 coaching at Hastings High School - December trip to Omaha Burke, Ice on I-80 so thick trucks just stopped in the right lane. In my van all the wrestlers put their head gear on thinking my driving was not good. then the alternator quit - van stalled. We just slid it off the side of the road. Piled into the other van. Coach Sheeley was a man of honor, and team was allowed to enter without weighng In. Got there 10 mins before tournament. Hastings won the tournament.
