Sorry, Bryan, don't agree, I understand Beeson's post, he is a pessimist, but you make it sound like the changes will allow someone to win a 6U state title by wrestling only 2 matches. These weight change brackets will still have 30 to 40 kids in them, still an great accomplishment and very difficult.
If this has anything to do with keeping their interest in wrestling, then it is misplaced.
Nearly every kid hits a wall at older ages, has nothing to do with 6U wrestling.
There are other ways to limit the size of brackets at 6U state.
