To quote the fans in the Astrodome from the Bad News Bears, "Let them play! Let them play!" If you have a senior on your team that is wrestling JV, obviously he loves the sport and wants to keep competing to help the team in any way he can, keep him wrestling. Let him go to JV meets. Some JV tournaments specify freshman only or freshman/sophomore to keep the amount of experience limited to underclassman only. There are many schools that host JV tourneys. Some schools have such depth of uperclassmen that they are able to enter their JV team into varsity tournaments! That is a credit to you and your program. In our sport, we should be glad that we have kids wanting to wrestle regardless of being varsity or JV, so reward them with mat time. Just don't be wishy-washy - you know what I mean.
