It is easy to call out the top guys in every regional, how about the sleepers?
Or the regionals that have 5-6 top guys in them?

126 Looks deep at Colby
J. Jurgens - Scott City 2013 321A State Champ P. Ordonez - Hugoton 25-5 C. Smith - Abilene 26-5
All in all, looks like 12 wrestlers with winning records. All records combined = 240-135 (some records a week+ old)

Sorry i'am alittle new to all this! How many schools are at the Regionals?? And how do they pick who's going to state? And how many in one weight class go? There are 4 Regionals in each class. 4 Regional tournaments for Class 6A and 5A are 8 teams each 4 Regional tournaments for Class 4A have 16 teams each (2 actually only have 15 teams) 4 Regional tournaments for Class 321A have 23 teams each The top 4 wrestlers advance to the respective class State Tournament, making each weight a 16 man bracket.

I am going to go out on a limb and say Derby will win the 6A regional in Topeka. It will be close though Manhattan and Junction City have good teams too.
Fortune assists the daring.

There was some good wrestling at Pittsburg.
106 #5 Hitchcok v. #6 Scott This was a treat. The freshman really showed some guts, but Scott was too much.
113 #3 Tujague v. Verhaege This was not as close as 106, but Marty gave it a good shot.
120 #5 Beran v. McLaughlin This was a real close one. Beran with the gutsy come from behind effort to tie it in regulation and then get the SV win. (Disclaimer: McLaughlin is my son)
126 #4 Pelfrey v. #2 Cokeley What can you say, Cokeley is a stud in a loaded weight class. Pelfrey and Chenney will get more chances to prove themselves this weekend.
132 #2 Like v. #1 Hensley Hensley won a good match. This is just the warm up to this weekends final.
138 #1 Dickman #5 Lautt Dickman looked in control.
145 Shaw v. #3 Ellis One sided match. Ellis with the 1st period fall. (Tujague moved up to 152)
152 #1 Henes v. Tujague Here's where the real fun happened. Because Tujague jumped up to 152, Henes was in a dog fight right away and found himself on the wrong side of a 1st period fall (0:33)!
160 #1 Dulgarian v. #3 VanLerberg Isaac was never in trouble, but I like to see guys who don't normally get pushed have to work. Dulgarian came out the winner 5-2.
195 #3 Gramke v. McBee McBee with the 3-1 upset. McBee is peaking at the right time.
220 #1 Ewing v. #4 Feist Ewing with the quick pin (0:59)
