It is never ok no matter the circumstance. I have personally coached a young man that was denied his shot at state his senior year because a highschool coach told his wrestler to take a dive. This was a kid trying to do a back flip out of a single leg and landed on his head the other coach started crying to the ref that it was an illegal slam and he talked the ref into calling it. I completely lost all respect for this coach and his program and now love to see them lose.
