The main thing would seem to be to get it cleared as soon as possible. By not treating it you run the risk of spreading it to not only your team but anyone they wrestle or wrestles on the mat you were just on. As a coach if I had to sit a wrestler out for ringworm it would be for the team, the sport and last because it is in the rule book. Westling gets a bad enough rap with out the people who know and understand the sport giving wrestling a black eye by knowingly breaking the rules. This applies to wrestlers and coachs. Do the right thing for wrestling and go to the doctor so no one else is in the same boat you are in.
