I agree, totally different set of circumstances. This is not the norm and the loser is the one hugging not the winner.

I just think it is poor sportsmanship to try to hug a kid you have just beat. I only brought this up because I had a kid win and try to do it the other week and the loser was not having any part of it. I told my kid he was in the wrong and to not do it again.
