The Elementary (and Middle School) teams will be attending this event April 10, 11th and 12th - held at the Mid America Center in Council Bluffs, Iowa.

The Elementary School will take 5 teams as determined by finishing order at the qualifying tournament on March 1st in Salina. We can also take up to 4 alternates per team - with 6th place finishers having first opportunity.

Weight classes are; 50, 55, 60, 65, 70, 75, 80, 85, 90, 95, 100, 105, 112, 120, 130, 140, and 160.

Design work on the singlets, etc is happening right now and the theme is aviation. We should have proofs back in the next week or so.

The teams will be meeting in Topeka again and riding together in vans. I will need 6 or 7 volunteers to drive. I'll also need 3 or 4 coaches per team.

Both the Elementary and Middle school teams will be staying at the same place as last year - Holiday Inn Express, 2610 Abbott Plaza, Carter Lake, Iowa.

There is a block of 80 rooms set up for parents on a first come basis, at the Candlewood Suites across the street - $94.95 plus tax for double queens and $109.95- $114.95 plus tax for suites. Call Kelli Spies at 402-505-4900 and ask for Kansas Wrestling Parents Block.
