As you probably know, he won dist one, that in istself should tell you something. However I've only seen him wrestle one tourney this year and that was at Wichita. He got second down there, but here is what happened. Cameron Riojas had him down 9 to zip and in a pinning combination but unfortunately he pinned himself in the process. Boaz Beard had him down by 10 or 12 to zip and then pinned him in the championship match. Looked to me like Riojas or the 4th place finisher Mayes should of both placed ahead of him since Mayes and Riojas went to overtime. Go out and be agressive, make no mistakes and you should do OK against him

I was watching that match at Wichita and Hambleton was losing 7 to 0 when he shot on Riojas and when Riojas tried to roll him Hambleton caught his ankle and had him on his back and held him there till the ref called a pin. He never had a pinning combination on hambleton when he was pinned.

carlson had him upside down in the second period and had him pinned and the time ran out. that made it three to two starting the third period hambleton went down and layed there the third period and craled out to the edge of the mat twice. yes he won the match but if you wrestle him on his feet hes very beatable. don,t get me wrong hes a good boy but theres no one that can stall better than hambleton and thats how he wrestles.

I was there watching that match too and hambleton took carlson down then carlson excaped then hanbleton took him down agine then carlson reversed him to end the period. In the second period they were on their feet the entire period so hambleton could not of ever been on his back about to be pinned. Then in the third period hambleton was trying to work and carlson was just riding his hips and barring up his arms so he couldn't do anything so if anyone was stalling it was carlson not hambleton. ending the match with a score of 4 to 3 not 3 to 2 so next time get your facts straight before you put something on here

Grandad is just trying to protect the reputation of grandson. And if you know grandad none of his stories quite add up.

John wrestles for our club. He won state last year at 12& under. John is a good wrestler on his feet and on the mat. He is definatly not a staller. In my opion he's a contender for another title this year. Jon Murray Parsons Wrestling Club

hey dustin. just beat him alright. i wrestled u this weekend and yes i think u can most defenetly win if u are aggressive as ****. And whoever it was that said that hambilton must be good if he beat carlson probably doesnt know that carlson got beat by 2 other different people at wichita.

I was just relying on information I read earlier on here from some guy called slappy who said the Carlson guy was 40 and 0 and could hang with any High School kid. I figured He knew because he’s been to tournaments throughout Kansas.

I have seen John H.in person twice this year once at Witchita and Baldwin and he is a good wrestler especially on the mat using his legs to tilt people. As to the match with Carlson 4-3 or 3-2 what is the difference it is still only one point isn't it? I watched the match and it was a very good match, and I thought both wrestler looked good through out the day. I am lookinh forward to this weekend because the 140lb class is loaded with very good wrestlers and I've seen most of the kids in the bracket this year and I think there is going to be a shortage of easy matches they all will be tuff. I wish all the wrestler going to state good luck and I will see you there.
