Derek,

Thanks for putting on a great event and for listening to suggestions. Coming from the Missouri side, the closest satellite weigh-in was 45 min-1 hour away, and in rush hour traffic, from Greater Heights, Victory and Grindhouse (the 3 MO teams that brought wrestlers to the event). I contacted you last year and this year about hosting a satellite weigh-in or allowing one of the other clubs in the Northern part of Kansas City to host a satellite weigh-in closer to where the core of your MO wrestlers are coming from. Any of the 3 clubs are established clubs with coaches that have been entrusted and respected enough to host satellite weigh-ins for tournaments. I can understand your reservation initially not knowing these clubs but we have been coming and supporting your event now for 2 plus years so please consider having a Kansas City, Missouri weigh-in and not ones just in Kansas. I promise you that you will get more Missouri wrestlers to compete in the event if you do and you will get the ones who have been coming - coming back again.

As for the coaching passes and such, those seem like issues you have already have in your sights so there is no need to rehash them.

Smoothly ran tournament after the coaches band issue was figured out! Personally, I don't understand why a parent, grandparent, etc is allowed to get a floor band. The arena floor isn't that big & parents can easily pass a 6u kid over the railing to their coach, if they are worried about them going to the mat by themselves. I know it brings in more $$ for your club but it also adds to the ever growing matside congestion problem. And like someone already said, some who want to be matside but don't have a coaches card, don't have one for a good reason & shouldn't be allowed to be down there! Just my thoughts on the floor band issue!

Jason,

Thank you for the feedback. We appreciate your team's continued support of our tournament! We'll definitely take you guys into consideration next year when we lay out our satellite locations (assuming we don't go to on-site weigh-ins only).

Thanks again and good luck on the remainder of your season.

Ashlie,

This is a concern that we hear about each year, and I completely understand where you are coming from. We've tossed around the idea of doing coach's passes only on the floor. I will address this at our post-tournament meeting this Wednesday and see what the overall consensus is. I can also assure you that the Coaches' Packets won't be an issue in the future.

Thanks for the feedback.

Thanks

Doug,

Yes it's his. If you could bring it down to Tulsa this weekend it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.
