So tonight many of us received a email from a official reminding us that recommendations will be due soon for state officials and included a picture.

I think that's a great idea and encourage more to do it. We know many of them by face only and when it comes time to vote we have no idea who some of them are by name.

I know D1 use to provide pictures at meetings but think that even stopped a year or so ago.

Officials make sure we can put a name to the face.

(Please don't hijack the post just talking about the crappy ones that might have cost your kid a D1 scholarship)

To clarify it was a D3 official so maybe only D3 clubs got it.

When we were in D1 I recall pictures of each official were available before the voting one year, thought it was helpful.

It is incredibly helpful and should be standard operating procedure for voting on the referees--the picture thing

I didn't get the email. Jr. Vikings are now in D3 too
