If you ask me, they should have seeding meetings for state, because thats crap when yo have 2 of the best guys in the state on the same side of the bracket. Its not any fun to watch semi finals match when that match should be the finals match..why don't they do this?

Well, who says they are two of the best guys in the state? I bet the other side of the bracket also has two of the best guys in the state also since each side of the bracket has two No. 1's. That means if they get that far, two of the top four are going to get beat out in the semis which makes that probably one of the top rounds to watch. If they don't get that far, then I guess it will prove the point that one regional is stronger than another, at least at that weight class. Right now, there are probably six to 10 guys at state who think they can win each weight class and who probably can depending if they wrestle well. Same as in football like there are probably 20 college teams at the start of a season with players good enough to win a NC. You got to do it on the mat so it don't matter if it is the finals or the semi's, ya still have to beat em. It's just you, and that is what seperates this sport from a lot of others. Just U baby.

yea "wrestlingiscrazy" it would probably be a better way, so that you get to supposlly top 2 guys on the opposite side of the bracket. but honestly, that would be the longest seeding meeting ever. coaches would say that these guy beat this guy and he beat him who pinned that guy that teched the dude that majored decision that one dude's uncle in wwe's no holds bar cage match. what i am trying to say here is that it would literally take days to do it, and i know no coach wants to do that. and it is more interesting this way anyways. you are don't deserve to be a champion, even if you are ranked number one and lose to the number two kid in the semis. you have to beat everybody you wrestle.

I agree that many of the best matches happen in the Semis, but I would not want to sit through that seeding meeting. It would not go anywhere because more than likely you would have no commons and no head to head, since the kids are from different sides of the state.

I believe that it would be hard to seed a state bracket. But I believe they seed a college national championship bracket.. am I wrong mr. salyer? However, I do think that it would be much easier to seed just the number 1 guys from regionals or 1 and 2 to split them all up. Who knows, we havent changed it yet, probably won't either.
