The 2018 USAW Schoolboy National Duals will be held in Indianapolis, Indiana. As in tradition we taking two teams as this is the first dual series event our wrestlers to compete together as Team Kansas in the international styles. We will be in Indianapolis June 7-10 and make plans to leave bright and early on the morning of June 6th (7AM) for the event. We will board a chartered bus and issue out gear from either (Saint Thomas Aquinas) or ExpoCenter more details to follow.

The plan is to field the most competitive team we have. We will take 2 teams with a few alternates possibly that would be flexible to meet the teams needs.

QUALIFY FOR NATIONAL DUAL TEAM AT FS/GR STATE
Saturday, May 5th 2018 (Cinco De Mayo) State Freestyle and Greco tournament in Hutchison, KS
Team Kansas will fill the dual spots primarily by using the FS/GR State tournament results. The top three placers at the state meet will be considered for the Kansas Schoolboy National Dual teams in their respective weight class and style. If a placer elects not to compete then the USAWKS Coaching staff will fill these spots accordingly. The coaching staff will move to the 4th place finisher first and then look to ANY and ALL wrestlers from Kansas to fill the possible spots!
TEAM KANSAS GOAL
The goal for Team Kansas is to win a TEAM Greco and Freestyle National Dual Title. In order to accomplish this goal, the USAWKS Coaching staff will put the wrestlers in the best situations to help the TEAM win a National Title. The staff will determine when and how many matches the wrestler will wrestle in order to help Team Kansas be successful. Keeping in mind the state champion in each class and style will receive the majority of the matches at the event.

We have made great efforts in getting our team better lodging. This year will be staying at the Candlewood Suites which one will be close to event.

We have set up a block of rooms for our parents under TEAM KANSAS. We were able to block off 7 Queens and 7 Kings for families that are willing attend. Rate will be $104 per night and pre-taxes of course.
