Aren't these kinda pointless till we even find out what schools will be in the division?
A person could argue rankings are pointless all together even the ones at the very end of the season. A ranking doesn't guarantee you any hardware. A ranking is merely a prediction by a person or group of people on how everything might end up. As a wrestling fan it adds a little fun to the season..
Rankings are certainly not predictions. They are an attempt to quantify past results, not future. The main goal is to promote the worlds greatest sport while giving due recognition to the blood, sweat and heart invested by our states courageous athletes.
