Entry fee: Entries will be done via Track Wrestling. Double dipping is allowed between age groups only (additional entry fee).

$25 Open & Girls $20 Novice (non-refundable)

Make checks payable to “HKWC”. Please bring payment to head table the day of the tournament.

WEIGH-IN: HKWC approved satellite locations will be announced on USAWKS talk forum. Wrestler MUST WEAR A SINGLET. NO Saturday weigh-ins.

Rules and Format: This is a USAW sanctioned event. KSHSAA rules with Kansas Kids modifications. Head gear is mandatory. *Age as of August 31, 2019

Coaches Meeting: 8:00 A.M.
Morning session: 8:30 A.M. 6u, 12u 14u
Afternoon session: 1:00 p.m. (approximately) 8U, 10u & Girls

Awards: Trophy for 1st place (Open & Girls only). Medals for 2nd-4th OPEN & 1st-4th NOVICE.

Weight division: Please rate wrestlers A, B, C or D. We reserve the right to combine weight classes as necessary.

I am brand new to wrestling this year so forgive my ignorance. When you say double dipping between age groups, do you mean a 6U 40lb can wrestling 8U 40lb novice as well?

So satellite weigh-ins on Saturday?

No the weigh-ins will be on Friday night.

Any word on Satellite locations?

We were wondering the same thing got parents asking us the same thing out here

Due to many clubs having wrestlers competing in more than 1 tournament this weekend & many clubs not realizing it was satellite weigh-ins, we have decided to allow home site weigh-ins to be conducted Friday night. We apologize for the late change but we feel this will be easier for all competitors & their families.  Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause but we hope that you find this to be more of a convenience!  We will email all clubs competing in the tournament with the login information on Friday.   Please email all scratches or changes to hkwcsalthawks@gmail.com  


Also, after having inquiries asking to have a division to accommodate the 6u & 7u girls, we started looking at our current entries for the Girls division.  We have the entries to be able to accommodate the younger girls & not have them wrestle the 8u or 9u girls.  We are doing the girls brackets based off of their age first & then weight. 


We have opened registration back up, so anyone wanting to make changes or add entries can do so.  It was accidentally left of the flyer but like in years past, we are doing the 2 for 1 entries for the girls.  Any girl that is entered into the girls division can enter the boys division free of charge!  Please let me know if you anything!  Thanks!
