I see Quinten Saunders returned to competition this weekend for Goddard! That’ll make the team race in 5a even more interesting. About time! As a fan I love a heated team race at state!
I think it’s Goddard as the heavy favorite now.
Huge help to their line-up and 5A 182, but definitely not a heavy favorite. Maize and BVSW have many point scorers! If Shabazz makes it back, Maize will likely place 10. BVSW has nine possible placers. Goddard's eight will have to bring it to keep their streak alive.
Then there is Newton with FIVE projected 5A finalists. Their eight or nine showed what is possible at the TOC. Add in Heights, STA and Andover and you have yourself a STATE TOURNAMENT!!!!!
