195 Jouret lost to marcum who is #7. Davis lost to #1. How is someone who lost to # 7 above someone who lost to #1 as their only losses. You have stated that the past years are only used in early rankings. Unfortunately Davis and Jouret didn’t wrestle so you can only go off of who they lost to.
Of all the weights, I spent the most time on this one. Garrett is the only one that has a legitimate point here. How the match went down is important. Having said that, a #1 All-Class wrestler SHOULD be a current year state champion. With Jouret being 2-1 vs Marcum and Kaden Glass doing nothing to drop him lower, this is where I landed. Jouret is 2-0 vs Glass. He beat Carroll 7-0.
Jouret is over Glass, regardless of that loss. Marcum cannot jump Wunsch or Carroll. (Much more to add here but I'll spare you)
