Who is the fastest wrestler you have ever witnessed? Do you think that some of these wrestlers won some of there matches just because of being speedy gonzalez?
AND....
Who are some of the slowest wrestlers you ever seen? Did some of them win there matches just on pure technique or strenth?
Have fun with this one.....
Hey Butt-Head what did people do before they invented TV? Don't be stupid Beavis there's always been TV, there's just more channels now. Oh yeah, heh heh hehe... progress is cool. Heh hehe heh

Fastest Heaveyweight ever was Kevin Pulliam, from Harmon. That boy could move like a 130 pounder, and he was strong as an elephant as well.

Well not sure any of you are old enough to know but CRIS BELL silina central back in the 70s lightning fast and benched 350 plus. never used the strengh he had. id say the best high school wrestler iv ever seen.3- time undefeated state champ. As far as just pure technique DAVID RAY from Bishop carrol 1979-1980 and Goddard 1978 1981 3time state champ. undefeated the last three years i think. been along time since iv seen guys this good. THE BEST PART OF THESE GUYS WAS SPORTSMANSHIP NO BRAGING OR BOASTING JUST KICKED YOUR BUTT AND NICE AS COULD BE OFF THE MAT. GREAT IN THE CLASS ROOM AS WELL.

I disagree, Domer. He was very good, but I think that Jeff Boyle from Norton was the fastest heavyweight ever.
Congrats, Aquinas! Great job, Hat Town! Salyer Rules!

I used to work takedowns with Boyle after practice so he could work on his quickness. I was a pretty quick 45 pounder, and he was definitely quicker than I was!

Sorry. I never saw the guy from Norton wrestle, but Pulliam was the fastest I ever saw. He also played tailback, and I think he is doing that now in college.
Tanner was fast, but he wrestled several guys that were faster than him. He could control a match better than anybody I ever saw. He was especially dominant on top, and usually overpowered the kids he wrestled, even the very good ones.

Another quick big guy was Noah Clouse, 189 and 215 for ACCHS. That guy moved like a cat, And he was definately a scary dude.

For some of us a little older:
Teddy Nelson and Mario Pyle from Kapaun!
Temoer Terry from McPherson!
Jason Brown from Wichita South!
However, I do not believe any of the above mentioned were as lightning quick as Shawn Bunch.

I would say that Kenny Taylor Jr. from WW was just as quick as any of the above wrestlers. Having seen Charles "Toast" Knox Jr. wrestle as well as the other above mentioned wrestlers move, I believe he is just as quick if not quicker. That's when the Real Toast stands up. Ask his opponents, I bet you they'll tell you.
As for heavy wieghts Jerry Corner was pretty quick.

I would have to agree with Teemore Terry. Even Scotty Goodale had amazing speed. As far as Kenny, I love the guy but Kiyon Koroma was more faster than Kenny.
