actually johnson wasnt fleeing the mat, He had no other choice but to go the opposite direction of drennen. Everytime that johnson got to the line he stopped and tried to fight him off. And last time i checked you can't get pentalized for fleeing the mat if you never go out of bounds. I am from minneapolis and i know that it was the right call

i guess we now can say that dre is still the best after all that trash talking on him this year and last year about people saying that johnson would kick drennan's ***. When nationals come around dre will be back for another dominating match to win the title.

I geuss I don't understand? If a person is outside the circle they're out of bounds. If a person is trying to get out of bounds (on their feet) that should be fleeing the mat.NO MATTER who or what they are doing!!! Stalling should be called at least, after the guy is pulled on once let alone 3 times!!! This goes for ALL MATCHES!!

i agree bertc. there should have been something called there. In the second period coach johnson was wanting a point for dre fleeing the mat but he wasnt he just had the wizard in and getting his leg out and not once did johnson try to pull him back inbounds.

Too bad, he's not gonna give Eric another crack at him, because he's gonna go to 140 for Nationals. Now who's fleeing the mat?

There was serious consideration for a fleeing or stalling call, but I don't think any ref would have called that to end a championship match. They might have called it had Drennan not takin him down. Guess we'll never know.
