I'm sure it's been some time since you've been in high school, since you're a grandad, but I need you to understand something. It's spelled high, not hi. You took the time and effort to tell a kid to shut his mouth, and you saved an extra one second to not include the gh in high. If you want to set a good example like you're asking Pups4ever to do, you should do the same yourself, otherwise it does not mean as much.

ya u want people to respect their elders right? Well people might not respect them if they didn't learn how to spell in school and think goofing off in school is the right thing to do because their elders did.

Tip: "Mat tape can be used at any given time to secure your mouth shut and tape you to the chin up bars."

I would suggest as for advice on the topic of what to expect as an incoming freshmen don't be in "ah" of the older kids because age isn't everything. You will take some lumps but remember when it comes to age now a days sometimes the the years of experience through the kids program can sometimes off set the age difference. Your goal as a Freshmen should be two fold 1. be the best wrestler you can win or lose, and 2. How can I best help my team. The main difference between kids and high school is the age and the team concept. As to the guys dogging on gramps remember he has been around the wrestling scene for 20-30 years in Kansas, and I know him personally and without guys like him setting the wheels in motion for kids wrestling in this state you younger guys would not be where you are today. I suggest instead of "dogging" people who voice their opinion maybe you should listen to what they have to say. I myself have been around the state wrestling scene almost as long as gramps and I will say between state camps, tourneys, and clinics, and national events years in and years out you should listen to gramps you might learn something.
