The best takedown artist I saw was Gary Barton of Colby. I saw him takedown Leon Tresner six times in a row in the finals of the Garden City tourney once. Leon was a stud on the mat but he wasn't down there long enough to show it.

Personally I never wanted a kid to have 250 takedowns. My brother had only 26 takedowns in 1972. Twenty six takedowns, twenty six falls. Now thems takedowns!!
