Adam Venegas has scratched. He injured his shoulder in practice on Thursday night and after the first round, he scratched. He had to have the blood drained from his shoulder. This is so awful!

No, he lost it 2-1. He couldn't do anything with his hurt arm. He could not even pick the up or anything. I guess that is why his dad deceided to scratch him. He is in alot of pain.

That is too bad. I was looking to forward to seeing him and Mock in the finals. Who do you think will win HWT now? I see Mock is in the semi's with the JC kid he beat last year. Can he hold him off?

I hope it's not serious and my best wishes for a complete recovery. He and my son have become friends over the years.

He is a great guy. It is so sad that his high school career had to end this way. But he has a great school waiting for him to play football and hopefully he can bounce back and get ready for that!

Heavyweights was crazy today!!.. That wasn't even the only upset, however it was the biggest one. Kenny Povelein from lawrence also lost first round...and he was ranked in state. Best luck to Venegas tho...Poor guy...Everyone knew he was gonna win too.
