I think a lot of times kids are home schooled because the parents are trying to shelter their kids to much and not let them get out and make their own decisions. I know the whole evolution debate and stuff is going on, but come on if you have spent time with your kids from day 1 there shouldn't be a problem. I say no on this one purely for the fact if they can't go to school with other kids then why should they be allowed to wrestle on a team with those same kids?

Some people might be smart and have very little social skills. I'll take my "2nd rate education" over home schooling anyday!

I certainly understand as well as to why some parents choose home schooling. Truth is, if my wife had not gotten a job in a good school system we were going to home school. Long story there but I understand why some parents do it. I also think that there are many more opportunities for social interaction now than there used to be for kids that are home schooled. It is important that those parents seek those opportunities out.
